Boarding
Located in beautiful Temecula wine country, close to French Valley, Murrieta and Hemet, our emphasis is fun and exercise. We are a small, home-like facility, licensed for only 10 dogs. Guests spend their days playing with new friends, splashing in wading pools or napping in the shade. Our large play yards have dog furniture, toys and most importantly, other dogs.
Pets are grouped by their play style and energy level. If your pet prefers indoors climate controlled comfort, we will happily accommodate them. We will help socialize shy dogs.
When you bring your dog in for board, please bring their own bed or blanket, their regular food, vaccination records and a copy of their RABIES CERTIFICATE. You’re welcome to bring toys you won’t miss later. All dogs must be social, loving pets.
Standard Board is $40 per day. A $5 per day discount is given for board over 30 days, military, senior, school teachers, police, firefighter or multiple dog families.
Approved guests may stay in my home for an additional $10 daily, they must be housebroken and able to sleep on their beds, not mine.
Regular guests enjoy a relaxed ranch lifestyle. They may follow us around and supervise our chores. Hiking, trail riding and bunny chasing often top the list with regular guests. The thing most of the guests seem to look the most forward to is playing and
interacting with the other dogs.
Part of the fun here are the new friendships developed between diverse breeds and ages of pets. Dogs are naturally social and make new best friends quickly. It can be quite a relief to know your pet looks forward to their ‘vacations’ as much as you do yours. We limit our guests to ten, counting my own, thus avoiding the ‘kennel’ feel. My clients often tell me their pets act as though this is their second home. Most dogs let us know their preferences as to where they want to be, and with whom. We try to accomodate them, within reason. Some of our older guests prefer to relax on the patios or front yard, or even indoors watching the youngsters carry on through the windows. Multiple dog families can have their own private yards if they prefer it.
We are happy to assist with socialization of shy guests. We specialize in offering a home-like environment for the family pet, free from stress and full of fun and adventure, whatever that might mean for the individual.
As a courtesy to my neighbors, and the other guests, we don’t allow excessive barking. All dogs bark to some degree, and there are often exciting things to bark at here. If it becomes a problem, we’ll do our best with moving them around, spray bottles and citronella collars. If that doesn’t work, we reserve the option of using a bark collar with a static correction.
We are now offering climate controlled environment for our guests year round day and night.
